The Organic Content Standard, abbreviated as OCS, is an organic certification standard launched by the non-profit organization Textile Exchange in the United States. This standard regulates the entire organic industry chain by tracking the cultivation of organic raw materials. Textile Exchange states that OCS will replace the existing OE (Organic Exchange) blending standard. In addition, OCS will be applied to the validation of various organic planting materials, not limited to organic cotton. The Organic Content Standard (OCS) can be applied to all non food products containing 5% -100% organic ingredients. This standard can be used to verify the organic raw material content in the final product. It can be used to trace from the source of raw materials to the final product, and this process is certified by a trusted third-party organization. In the process of fully independently evaluating the organic content of products, standards will adhere to transparency and consistency.
