BSCI factory inspectionAudit Preparation

To save time and costs for all parties involved, suppliers should thoroughly prepare for the initial BSCI audit. It is recommended that suppliers follow this procedure during the preparation of the audit:

1. Carefully read and understand this management manual

2. Conduct self-assessment according to the BSCI self-assessment questionnaire.

3. Determine whether there is any deviation or violation of the self-assessment, audit questionnaire survey, Chapter 2 of this manual, and other requirements in the BSCI manual.

4. Make every effort to correct these deficiencies before the audit date and participate in and complete the preliminary measures for obtaining BSCI membership (if provided).

5. Timely provide any information requested by the auditing company.

6. Assign personnel in advance to be responsible for reviewing relevant areas such as human resources, accounting, safety and health, and environment. Explain to them the necessary preparations they must make and the information they hope they can provide.

7. Ensure that these responsible personnel can assist auditors during the audit process.

8. Keep all information on the list of documents required for the audit process on site.

If possible, provide an independent workspace for auditors.
