What is BSCI factory audit?
BSCI factory audit is an initiative for the business community to conduct social responsibility audits on global suppliers of BSCI organization members. BSCI factory audit mainly includes compliance with laws, freedom of association and collective bargaining rights, prohibition of discrimination, compensation, working hours, workplace safety, prohibition of child labor, prohibition of forced labor, environmental and safety issues. The BSCI audit report is globally recognized and mutually recognized by buyers, which helps to reduce audit costs and assist companies in better conducting sustainable commercial trade.
At present, BSCI has attracted more than 5000 members (supporting buyers: most of whom are European retailers and purchasers, such as AVE), COOP,Hema,ICA,JC,LIDL,ALDI,Lindex,M& S.
